The Czechs have deemed it more socialbly responsible to return the writing plays and demonstrating politically than lowering themselves with this cheap claptrap in 2010, 2011, 2012 or indeed 2013. And who can blame them after bombing so gloriously to date.
With their fingers on the pulse of the internet generation, the wandering Czech group called gipsy.cz have been given the task of representing the statistically worse Euronation with the song "Aven Romale". I hope they park their caravan in Putin's front garden, use his wheelie bin, and then leave a mattress. Read about it here.
Czech out Tereza Krendlova, the aging Czech popstrel who will be mangling a low quality ditty called "Have Some Fun". You'd be hard pressed to have fun here.
The Czechs were looking for something to bring them out of their malaise, following the composer Karel Svoboda's suicide. Sadly they failed to find it in Kabat, a dad rock outfit of dubious quality. Not the finest debut, I fear. Read more here.

The Tourist Guide says

"Discover the Czech Republic: its culture, economic situation and standards of living. Find out unexpected aspects of the Czech Republic, a country in the very heart of Europe. Don't miss out on any of the country's natural wonders and set it into its geopolitical context. You will be amazed at how even a small European state can significantly contribute to the world's cultural heritage".

Prague

"Prague is the capital city of the Czech Republic, the city of one hundred towers, several bridges over the Vltava River and countless valuable cultural and historical treasures.
The city, which is rightfully referred to as one of the most beautiful in the world, is the mother of cities. Whether Prague is called the golden city or city of one hundred towers, it is challenging to select one attribute that best portrays all the splendours the city has to offer."

"We could go on forever with ideas and recommendations about what to do, see and experience in Prague. Prague is a unique place, well deserving of your visit. After all, so many famous individuals were charmed by Prague over the years, such as composers W. A. Mozart and L. van Beethoven, British Queen Elizabeth II, Pope John Paul II and others."

A Czech man had a lucky escape after he plunged four floors onto the pavement below after mixing up the toilet and balcony doors.
Dusan Zdimala, 61, from Brno, fell 50ft but walked away with just light bruises after his middle of the night mix-up. He was taken to hospital after a neighbour, who saw him fall, rang an ambulance. Mr Zdimala, a painter, said: "It's miraculous. Apart from the bruises nothing happened. I didn't even break a single bone."

An Austrian hotelier has sawn off part of his roof because it was hanging over the border into the Czech Republic. A court had ordered Dietmar Hehenberger to trim 12ins from the roof of his luxury hotel in Guglwald.
"I would rather cut off part of the roof today and live in peace than to risk being forced to demolish more in the future," he said. Mr Hehenberger blames Austrian authorities who he says used imprecise maps when approving his new hotel wing.

A Czech man drove a armoured personnel carrier through a historic town centre to buy his kids an ice cream. Miroslav Tucek, 34, now faces a £300 fine after driving the 12-tonne military vehicle through Hradec Kralove. He told police it was too far to walk from his home and he had promised his kids an ice cream.
He said he had to use the APC, which he bought from the Czech military, as his car had broken down. Only light vehicles are allowed in the historic centre of Hradec Kralove in the northern Czech Republic.
